So much activity happening in The Cat Empire’s world! The nation’s most prolific band just performed for thousands in Brisbane for Queensland’s (and Jimmy Smits’) 150th birthday. Check them out messing around back stage before the show, on-stage craziness, and some hotel room antics after the gig. This may or not involve aforementioned orgy.

The lads are in the midst of a residency at Melbourne’s Prince of Wales (check tour dates here), are performing at the Youth Decide event at Federation Square on Sept 16, and in October they’re heading off to play in Alice Springs (cos y’know why not!?)

On top of all this action, Drummer Will is now Daddy Will – he’s just had a baby boy, Benjamin William Hull-Brown. AND the sextet are also working on some new tunes!

All in a day’s work, really.
