Empire of the Sun – We Are The People video tribute
Serious kudos to these dedicated Empyreans, who re-enacted Empire of the Sun’s We Are The People video in its entirety!
Originally shot in the deserts and rainforests of Mexico, the re-enactment was filmed on the sunny shores of Sydney, Australia and features Sydney actress Angie Kai as Gretel the Sun Goddess. Whoever plays Emperor Steele and Lord Littlemore, come forth and identify yourselves – your Yothu Yindi dancing is brilliant!
Amazing effort, particularly the Mexican festival at the end.

It is I, Angie kai who dare come forth and reveal my identity as Lord Littlemor!. You may be forgiven for mistaking me for a glorious sun goddess. Emperor Steele may be known as Jez Orez, my comrade and colleague and also my brother.
I write, direct, act, scout, make props and do just about anything that executes my creative energy and also excercises the right side of my brain. My first shot at editing was this clip though you will love the shorts and more videos to follow.

Working with Angie on ADHDtv was always fun. She is a free spirit, funny and sometimes just a trip! Always different, creative, can be a hand full, but as you can see by this video is not afraid to test the boundaries and discover herself. I am glad that she is making waves in the Aussie land. Hollywood will gladly take her back!
