There have been many great basketball teams over the years. Magic Johnson and the LA Lakers; Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics; Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls and now… Team InSound? That’s right folks…. EMI have started a local basketball team composed of EMI staff and friends.

The line up:

• David Fesdekjian: Point Guard
• Dan Baker: Shooting Guard
• Brett Morgan: Small Forward
• Glen Dickie: Point Guard
• Wesley von Grabill: Centre
• Tom Inglis: Centre
• Chris May: Power Forward
• Jordan Deck: Power Forward

This team may not be the most physically fit, most talented, strongest, best shooters or even the fastest team in the league but what we lack in overall basketball ability and skill we make up in heart, whitty remarks to the refs and with a doubt the best Pre-match pump-up music this side of the Harbour Bridge… From Queen’s We Will Rock You straight off their new Greatest Hits CD, to David Guetta’s Sexy Bitch which always goes down a treat, we’ve got a soundtrack that gets everyone’s attention. Mostly because your not supposed to play music in local basketball stadium. But that doesn’t stop team Insound…. And if that’s not enough… check out these uniforms!

Basketball is a great team sport, great cardiovascular exercise! And to add to that, a great stress release, especially after a long day in the office. And lets face it, there not many things in life as gratifying as yelling at the top of your lungs to your boss “GET BACK ON DEFENCE, I DON’T CARE HOW TIRED YOU ARE!!!”. Never fear, everyone get a chance for a good yell or a scream of excitement. We win together and we lose together…. but winning just so much more fun!
