We reported late last year that Coldplay were already back in the studio after ’08’s Viva La Vida…, and it turns out they’re churning the tunes out like crazy! Frontman Chris Martin claims their new album will be ready in time for Christmas 2010.

Top secret location (keep your ears peeled whilst walking past converted London churches), top secret tunes, and piled on security measures though: “There’s only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files,” Martin explained. “Even we [Coldplay] don’t know how to do it. We couldn’t even steal our own music at the moment. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it, and mix it.”
