A sweet treat from Keith Urban!
This morning 2 mysterious pink packages arrived in our reception… Further investigation revealed they were a special delivery from the one & only Keith Urban as a thanks for helping make his latest album Defying Gravity go platinum!
And what brings a music family together more than large quantities of CUPCAKES!?
Fortunately EMI’s COO David Kassler is in Sydney this week from London, just to ensure our afternoon post-sugar-crash doesn’t affect productivity… (PS, yep this is just another day in the Sydney HQ: sunny weather, lunchtime screenings of The U.S. vs John Lennon, and sweet treats from the Urbanator).

I have done my share, I don’t know how many copies of this album I have bought! I LOVE it and have my CD plus two for back-up. Well I have all his CD’s plus two for back-up! Anyway Just about everyone I know and especially all my family have received Defying Gravity for either a Birthday or this past Christmas. Keith Urban is the Best. Enormously talented, actually Gifted, and the kind of entertainer that hooks you in as soon as the music starts and gives you the best musical experience I have ever had till the finish. Started this summer in Houston at a Keith concert, next up Baton Rouge, then Greeley and deciding for at least one or two more. Obviously he has taken me from all other Artist’s shows, but I have been to the others and they don’t compare!

Alice,
I agreee with everything you wrote. Keith is truly an incredible person and performer. CD’s make great gifts and make for great new fans! Missed you in Houston, I’ll be in Baton Rouge, and several others this Summer.
The cupcakes were such a thoughtful and sweet idea, but then we would not expect anything else but class from this gentleman.
