The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack revealed by Trent Reznor

The short, cold, dark days of a Swedish winter are about the farthest thing from our December days in Australia. But to get into the mood for David Fincher’s uber-anticipated The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo there is an intriguingly tangled little web of websites taking fans on a bit of a scavenger hunt that leads to finding authentic items from the film.

Where to begin?

How about: http://mouth-taped-shut.com/

Or: http://www.whatishiddeninsnow.com/

And of course there is: http://comesforthinthethaw.com/

The latter delivers different film stills along with haunting snippets of the Trent Reznor / Atticus Ross soundtrack.

We can finally reveal more info about the soundtrack:

Head to iTunes to pre-order the album featuring the blistering ‘Immigrant Song’ by Karen O. You can get that track now when you pre-order, and the soundtrack will be delivered to your iTunes December 9. If you’re a Trent Reznor fan discovering the book and the film via his music, the iTunes page is like a mini education in TGWTDT including an 8 minute trailer. Go to iTunes.

There is also a dedicated website where you can get a free 6 track sampler download and pre order the digital download, CD or what is sounding like ultra deluxe vinyl set.

That is all for now.
