Turn it up… 30 Seconds To Mars yet again redefining EPIC.

So you’ve been hearing 30 Seconds To Mars new single Kings & Queens all over the radio, and now we present to you the first taste of the video. Renowned for their epic visual masterpieces (the first band to shoot a video in China, the first to shoot in the Arctic Circle, remakes of The Shining), this teaser shows that Jared and the boys are once again going to deliver something special.

But that’s not all we have for you guys today….

We’re not comparing 30 Seconds To Mars‘ This Is War to Henry V’s St Crispin’s Day speech… But this isn’t a bad way to pump up your troops (or thumbs) before sending them into battle royale.

Here it is kids, Kings and Queens the new single from 30 Seconds To Mars – the band fronted by everyone’s favourite celebrity ’slashie’ crush, Mr Jared Leto.

To say that this sounds “HUGE” is like saying that Miranda Kerr looks “OK” in a bikini, or that David Beckham can play football “a bit”… HUGE – it’s f*&king MASSIVE!!! Produced by Flood and Steve Lilywhite (they have twiddled the knobs for a few small bands like U2, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, and The Rolling Stones), we have a feeling you will be hearing this one all over the radio over the next few months.

The album it comes from is called THIS IS WAR and it hits shelves on Dec 4. Something tells me that it will be on every little Emo’s Xmas wish list.

To prove just how much Jared Leto loves his flock of followers, the new 30 Seconds to Mars album, This Is War, will have 2000 different album covers featuring individual photos of fans from around the world. You can submit  a photo to be used for the covers by heading to www.thirtysecondstomars.com. The first 2000 photos to be uploaded will become album covers – easy as that!

This crazy level of fan involvement follows on from when the band teamed up with their online community, The Echelon, earlier this year to record sounds for This Is War in a groundbreaking event they dubbed, “The Summit“. The band invited The Echelon members to travel to Los Angeles to take part in an impromptu recording session at Hollywood’s Avalon Club. It was so successful that Thirty Seconds to Mars decided to hold summits in 8 more countries across the world (Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom, Canada) in order to give their biggest supporters an opportunity to be a part of their new album.

You will get to hear the results when This Is War is released on November 20th, and be sure to listen out for the new single Kings & Queens when it hits radio in early October.

@Coldplay has just hit 1,000,000 followers – more than any twitterati ex-USA – and they’re celebrating right now…

@LilyRoseAllen pulled off a huge twitter hunt around Sydney, giving away 3 pairs of tix yesterday – resulting in serious scuffles and one winner with a broken finger. That’s dedication… The Nova drive team hunted Lily down too, begging her to call in via re-tweets. Obliging Lily gave ‘em their scoop. All the fuss made Lily top dog on the @happn_in_sydney hashtags for the day.
