Don’t tell me this isn’t the coolest thing you’ve ever seen… The so-Frenchy-so-chique electronic duo AIR have created some seriously special merch for their Love 2 album tour (so far just the US and Europe ).

One of them is this cut/fold/glue paper miniature of their real studio – complete with Persian rugs!

In the tradition of sexy dreamy French electro, AIR are releasing Love 2 – their fifth studio album on Oct 2.

And what a studio… Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin recorded in their own private studio named Atlas, nestled in the leafy backstreets of northern Paris. So it’s no wonder that the single Sing Sang Sung sounds like a glass of rose wine wine and puppy dogs skipping down the Seine on a summer Sunday afternoon. Even our resident office cranky-pants (no names) loves it. Check out the clip on the widget below.

We previously reported the news of a new AIR album Love 2 in the works, including a tracklisting which included opening number Do The Joy. Using the same widget with which the band gave us some early (& super sexy) audio, we now have some in-studio footage of the band recording Do The Joy.

Love that classic smooth bass low in the mix… so classy!
