Be warned! This band from Ballarat make exceptionally good music, as proven by their debut EP. In August Gold Fields first made a splash on triplej Unearthed, de-camped to LA to begin work on their debut album with renowned producer Mickey Petralia (Beck, Ladytron, Peaches).  They returned to Australia for  Parklife last month and will be back in town again for Homebake on Dec 3rd. Their live shows have earned them a rep for being a high-energy combo of pounding drums, rhythmic basslines and dreamy vocals.
