Jamie T’s new video – Emily Heart

Jamie T - Emily's Heart The 4th single from the rap-pop motormouth who loves to tell a story shows a softer side to this British lad who proves he can sing and write beautiful lyrics

If you thought you knew Jamie T take a listen to Emily’s Heart from Kings & Queens. It also comes with a super sweet video featuring a young fella who could be a young Jamie.

ohhhhh cute!

The digital 1-track will be released March 12 and there will be an iTunes 2-track the same day

Also Triple J have just confirmed that Jamie’s Live At The Wireless recorded at this years Falls Festival will be airing on March 8…so for all those who danced in the rain (me being one of them) and for all those who just love Jamie tune in

Jamie T ‘Chaka Demus’ remix – hear it here

Jamie T and The Pacemakers are in OZ on their national sold out tour… from all reports the gigs have been as fun as that first Sydney show I saw. A friend of mine got so into the 2nd show she lost her thongs (flip flops if you’re English)!

The album Kings & Queens had a debut this week of #17 on the ARIA Chart and the guys have been doing some really cool performances for radio and TV to promote it like this one for Nova.

We’ve also got our hands on a remix of Chaka Demus for theinsound peeps – enjoy

Jamie T’s Metro Sydney gig – bloody brilliant

I am still pumped after seeing Jamie T’s last night at the Sydney Metro. It was one of the most high energy, highly involved crowds I’ve seen at a gig in ages (god bless all ages shows!). Tonight’s 2nd show is sold out but Jamie & The Pacemakers will be touring the rest of the country and there are a few tickets left to some of the gigs from Love Police – you won’t be disappointed.

Jamie T does Beyonce’s “If I Were A Boy”

Gotta admit, I really thought Jamie T already was a boy. Hence the facial hair.

Jamie welled up whilst performing Beyonce’s If I Were A Boy for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge September 7.

He goes pluck-pluck-pluck at the heart-strings.

Watch the Beyonce version here.

Jamie’s new album Kings & Queens is out in Australia tomorrow but is already off to a massive start in the UK, at #1 in the midweek charts!

Jamie T new video – Chaka Demus

The brand new, freshly cut video for Chaka Demus, the 2nd single from Jamie’s album Kings & Queens due out September 11, was inspired by the film Cannonball Run and directed by Julian Fletcher and Dan Henshaw – check it out:

Jamie T Sticks’n'Stones Preview

Everyone’s favourite lad from London, Jamie T, is back with a new album and we have a streaming delight just for you.

Coming off of killer debut release with Panic Prevention, Jamie T was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and won the 2007 Shockwave NME award over the likes of heavyweights Jarvis Cocker and Thom Yorke. Not bad company for a shy 23 yr old.
He has also been what I deem as ‘best described’ by Canvas Mag as “like the bastard lovechild of Billy Bragg and Mike Skinner doing his best Joe Strummer impression”

Bringing on more of his catchy story telling Jamie T’s following up is no exception what what I’ve heard so far. Take a listen from the Sticks ‘n’ Stones EP stream below and keep your ears on the ground for more to come.

Jamie T – Sticks ‘N’ Stones – we got the vid!

South London lad Jamie T caused a wee bit of mayhem on the platform of Wimbledon Station for his Sticks ‘N’ Stones vid.

No strawberries, cream, ball boys, or Roger Federer in site. Lots of broken glass, spilled beer, geezers, and clown makeup however.

Jamie and his lads made it over to Oz 18 months ago and rowdied up an adoring mob at Sydney’s Gaelic Club eating the palm of his hand. Or rather, they returned him to the stage and quietened down (somewhat briefly) upon request. Time for another lager-soaked tour methinks!

ORRIGHT!!

The South London geezer, Jamie T has just dropped his first single ‘Sticks N Stones’ from his sophomore album which is set to be due out in Spring.

It’s been getting quite a bit of Triple J & SYN FM love already – but here it is in it’s full explicit glory (LANGUAGE ALERT!) on the interweb.

Get innit!
