Groovin The Moo 2011 - through the eyes of our Bankwest Music Intern
Our lucky Bankwest Music Industry Intern Winner Melissa Stainsby headed to the Bunbury WA leg of the Groovin The Moo festival. This... is her story:
The Groovin the Moo music festival in Bunbury last Saturday was awesome fun! The bands & atmosphere were great. Highlights were the mechanical bull, the Mootown DJ tent & the condom tent - pretty different to what I have previously seen at a music festival!
My favourite bands on the outdoor stages were Birds of Tokyo, Gyroscope, Cut Copy, Bliss n Eso and House of Pain.
The best song of the night for me though was Gyroscope's Baby I'm Getting Better. Horror Show was definitely the best on the indoor stage... these bands really know how to get the crowd going!
The VIP lounge was really cool, decked out with couches, lamps hanging from the ceiling, decorated coat hangers, umbrellas & mirrors on the curtains of the tent, along with our own bar & bathrooms!
All in all it was a great day and night. Everyone there looked as though they had a ball.
LOVED IT! =)
