Get 'Electrified' with daredevil David Blaine

We’ve all had sleepless benders in our lifetimes, but could you imagine staying awake for three days and three nights on a 20-foot high platform, with no food or room to move, and whilst one millions volts of electricity are streaming around your vertical body?

Well, believe it or not, one man can: this weekend, magician, illusionist and all-round madcap David Blaine is going to stage this incredible endurance performance at Pier 54 in New York City, and Sydneysiders will have the exclusive opportunity to directly interact and watch it live!

Presented by Intel, the ‘Electrified’ event starts at 9am (AEST) tomorrow, where Blaine will climb into a custom-made metal suit and protective helmet, and hopefully not be electrocuted by the electric current that swims around him for three whole days.

The magical performance will be aired live on a large LED screen outside Custom’s House from 4-9pm on Saturday, and Australians will be able to control the levels of electricity surrounding Blaine in NYC for one hour from 6-7pm using an Ultrabook. Cool, huh?
