Laneway Festival sideshows - Bat For Lashes, Yeasayer, Divine Fits

Can’t make it to St Jerome’s Laneway Festival next year? Don’t despair: the festival fairies have answered our prayers and a string of national sideshows have been announced.

Throughout January and February, our shores and our stages will play host to an influx of international EMI acts including the likes of Bat For Lashes, Yeasayer, Divine Fits and Cloud Nothings.

The beguiling English phenomenon that is Bat For Lashes brings her much-raved-about third album The Haunted Man and spellbinding live show here next January for two very special theatre shows plus her headline slot in the Laneway Festival.

Brooklyn’s favourite psychedelic trio Yeasayer return to Oz for an encore with their latest release Fragrant World, whilst Ohio-based band Cloud Nothings make their maiden visit here to blow us away with their anthemic, lo-fi rock music.

And don’t miss the Divine Fits sideshows – the band name might sound new-fangled and unfamiliar, but behind it lays decades of fame, calibre and experience. Made up of members from the indie underground likes of Spoon, Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs and New Bomb Turks, the Fits have already received glowing reviews of their debut album and live show.
