Bob Evans doesn't wanna grow up anymore

Admittedly, I'm not the maturest of EMI staff. Often heard singing out of tune at my desk to MTV Classics, swinging wildly in the office egg chairs or having a laugh with my partner in crime (a fellow EMI infantile) I've always admired a Peter Pan attitude to life.

If you tuned into triple j this morning, you might have fallen in love with Bob Evans' new single  'Don't Wanna Grow Up Anymore', premiered on Breakfast with Tom and Alex. Bob is the lovable alter ego and solo project of Kevin Mitchell, who also fronts Jebediah. With a sound that breaks away from the overarching acoustic and somewhat alt-country style of previous records, ‘Don’t Wanna Grow Up Anymore’ has a bit of a Blur 'Coffee and TV' sound to it, and will be featured on the forthcoming new Bob Evans EP ‘The Double Life’.

Bob's EP is out on November 9th. For more from the world of Bob (including some great nostalgic stuff posted on his page), follow him on Facebook or his website. Because really, who does want to grow up anymore? I'll be 27 forever.
